Homer Spit
From the overlook, look to the left and you'll have a spectacular view of the spit.
Fireweed
Looking towards the spit there is a great field of fireweed to photograph. Fireweed is a tall showy wildflower that grows from sea level to the subalpine zone.
Mount Augustine Volcano
Walk to the right of the overlook and out in the water and on a clear day you will see Mt. Augustine.
